How soon can I use an eSIM?

As of September 1, 2023, it can be used within 24 hours.
Please keep us informed in advance the dates of usage, the eSIM can be delivered accordingly.

Can I use 5G service if I change from SIM card to eSIM?

Yes, definitely.
In addition, the radio wave conditions of 4G/5G vary subject to the country/region of use,

What should I do if I purchase a new mobile device?
A

The profile you are currently using cannot be used, so please order it again.

Can I use tethering (internet sharing)?
A

Yes, you can.
Make sure to validate the tethering function from the device settings while using it.

Can I use phone calls and SMS?
A

eSIM is exclusively for data communication. Telephone calls and SMS using the phone number
cannot be used.
However, you can use telephone calls by using VoIP apps such as LINE and Skype.

How can I create an account?
A

An account can be created when purchasing a data plan from a website, etc.
It is not possible to create an account (without purchasing the eSIM).

Are there any other costs other than the data plan fee?
A

Nothing more.
Additionally, as all data plans are prepaid, so no worries about maintenance or
fixed costs.

If I go abroad often, can I purchase and use a plan each time?
A

Of course, it is possible.
eSIM data communication service is completely prepaid,
you can use it every time you travel by purchasing a new data plan from the app.
There are no charges during the span of nonusage.

Can you issue me a receipt?

Yes, it can be issued.
We will send it by email through our service should we receive the email record and your name.

Can I extend the expiry date of my purchased data plan?

We feel very sorry that the expiry date just cannot be extended.

About eSIM/QR code

Q
What is the difference between SIM card and eSIM?
A

A SIM card is a chip-type IC card storing user’s contract information and can be used by inserting the SIM card in an iPhone or smartphone.
An eSIM is a SIM that is pre-embedded in a phone terminal such as a smartphone.
You can download eSIM profile which records your contract information.

Can I change my eSIM to a SIM card?
A

It is not possible to change an eSIM to a SIM card.

Can I use the QR code for downloading the eSIM profile as many as possible?
A

Profiles can only be downloaded once.
Be careful not to use the wrong mobile device to download the eSIM profile.
Once the downloaded profile being deleted, the mobile service cannot be used again.
Be careful not to delete the eSIM profile by mistake.

If I accidentally delete my eSIM, can it be reissued?
A

In the nature as the prepaid products, if you accidentally delete the eSIM,
or if your mobile device is lost or damaged, the eSIM cannot be reissued.

When does the eSIM data plan start once purchase?
A

It (internet communication) can be used immediately after setting up when purchased.
The plan’s validity begins when the first data communication is established in the country
where the eSIM can be applied.

Can I scan the same QR code to install it onto multiple mobiles?
A

Since it is a number linked to an individual eSIM number, it can only be used once.
Therefore, it cannot be used on multiple mobiles.

About settings/DATA communication

What am I supposed to be prepared when signing an eSIM contract?
A

It’s not particularly necessary.
We might ask you to use a credit card or provide ID proof if needed. Your kind understanding
will be highly appreciated.

Can I change the contracted data capacity?
A

Since this is a prepaid contract, changes cannot be made in the middle. Please use it up
and re-purchase it.

What are APN settings?
A

APN is the abbreviation of “Access Point Name” which means “access point name” in
Android.
The settings allow you to connect to other networks from your mobile phone line. iPhone
does not have it as a basic operation.

What is the data communication speed?
A

Communication speeds are the type of “best effort” which vary subject to the local
communication environment.
By considering the general average communication speed, it is possible to secure frequencies
from 3G to 5G. subject to the region/country.

Yes, it is possible.

Please enter the code sent along with the QR code into your device’s settings screen and
add the eSIM manually.
